Two Birds In A Hand

Turkey Season opened last Monday and as usual my wife Nancy and I were at our hunting lease to open the season. We were on birds each morning and had some super hunts.  Nancy ended up with a 20 pounder and I got lucky with a 24 pounder.

I have been fishing a lot but took some time off to relax before the season really opens up. There are not many dates left between now and August but take a look at my booking calendar and see if there is a place to fit you or your group in.

Hogs On!

 If you have not hunted HOGS under the full moon you have missed some pretty exciting hunting!! Jim Miller at the Davidson Ranch north of Longview Texas invited a few of us to his place to try our luck! Nine p.m. till 3 a.m. seemed to produce the most action with several 200 pound hogs on the ground! Fun was had by all and we appreciate Mr. Millers invitation....we will go back!

 

Duck Hunting In The Delta

Duck hunting in the Delta will never be the same after our group spent a few days there! Good food, good friends and even a duck once in a while...FUN WAS HAD BY ALL!!

It is about time to start thinking about coming to the Arkansas Ozarks and enjoy some late winter fishing. The bite is good and the water levels have been perfect for artificial baits...come see us at LINGER'S GUIDE SERVICE & FISHING LODGE!

My wife, Nancy, kept her streak alive!! It was the last day of season at 3:00 p.m......FLIGHT CANCELED!!! Her streak is still in tact....22 shots & 23 TURKEYS!!

Ohio Buckeye and Memphis Gentleman

Fish Practically Jumping Into The Boat

We have been doing some work at our Deer/Turkey camp in southern Missouri getting ready to open the season.Can you tell which two pictures are BEFORE & AFTER shots???

Big Bang In The Woods

Turkey season has started with a BANG!! My wife, Nancy, and I both got gobblers the first couple days of season and are looking forward to filling our tags over the next two weeks.....back to fishing until next week!! The trout are biting and all is well after the floods....come  see us at Linger's Guide Service to have a little fun and enjoy the Arkansas Ozarks!

Another satisfied customer of Linger's Guide Service & Fishing Lodge! Dan holmes of St. Louis scored on the first morning of his hunt and was a happy hunter!! I am sure it was all due to my expert coaching &
calling!!! Killing turkeys with a bow can be very difficult but Dan made it look easy!! His hunting partner, Andy Engle also of St. Louis, had arrows flying all over the woods but never connected!! Think now about spring & summer trips to the White River and give me a call or e-mail!

Hunt Arkansas Bear with a Bow!

Here is a unique offer to hunt arkansas bear with a bow!!

I have a friend who takes only two hunters the first week of bow/bear season which is approximately the first week of october. Here is what you get!!

It is a 7 day hunt. You hunt from noon until dark over bait for 7 straight days or until you tag out! (price: $3,000 per hunter.)

Your hunt includes all baiting for a month before season, transportation to and from your stand each day, skinning of your bear ready for the taxidermist, quartering of your bear and placed in your coolers for transportation. Price does not include final butchering of the animal, your meals, lodging or gratuity!

You won't find a better deal than this 7 day hunt for $3,000 considering it is right here in the arkansas ozarks and you are not having to travel to canada or alaska etc. The last two seasons my friend's customers have killed four bears of which three comfortably made the pope & young bow hunting record book!! The bears on this private lease land are large bears as shown by the record book results.
